Students in grades 3-5 can join this free, weekly after-school chorus, led by our PS 163 music teacher, Ms. Spallina. Students learn about the elements of good choral singing through warmups and a varied repertoire, singing a wonderful mixture of both classic and popular contemporary songs.

 

Our young singers perform concerts throughout the year, including as part of an annual school Holiday Sing-Along. Past concert themes have included the songs of Hans Christian Andersen; Hits of the Eighties; The Muppets; Jazz Classics; Beatlemania; Oz (songs from The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked); and I Love New York.
